Citroën 2CV6 long-distance preparation?

Posted: under Adventure Travel.
Tags: , , , ,

Am planning to go overland from France to Turkey and Iran (if those US warmongers don’t bomb it first).

Does anyone have experience of adventure travel by citroen 2cv6 ? Technical tips most appreciated…what spares to take, availability of parts in that part of the world (the engine is small and light enough that i could take a spare one!) or maybe just your 2CV-related stories.

Any creative input is welcome

Hugs

Is it better to seek security or adventure?

I used to always seek adventure. I wanted to travel alone and be away from all things familar. Now I’m tired of that. I just want to settle down in one place and be close to family and friends. I’m only 21 years old, but I’ve experienced a lot in the past four years. However, now I’m ready to just get a good job, get married, and have a family. I never thought that I would feel this way, and I feel like I am too young to feel this way. What do you think? Should a person travel the world and do great things while they are young? Or should they just get married and choose security over adventure if that is what they feel like doing?

singmetosleep asked:

The advantage of using a tour guide is that there is someone to lead the way, but at the same time I think that takes a bit away from the adventures of traveling.

How was your experience with a guided tour? Did you enjoy it? Did you wish you had more free time to do what you wanted?

How about independent traveling? Do you think its just too hard to plan? Cost more?

Thanks.

BB asked:

I need to pick a major for my university undergrad and I want it to lead to a career that involves loads of excitement, adventure, travel, new experiences, discovery, and hopefully money!
Things like national treasure, the mummy, indiana jones, and james bond are exactly what i’d love.
What would be a good major, and a career!?
