I am on an official visit in durban, looking for some company of people to backpack and see places around. Travelling alone is expensive and boring. Is there an adventure/travel community of sorts in durban who meet up regularly and plan weekend travel together ?

I want to travel the world looking for fights and once in the first country I shall get to business and fight the native people. I may start with Europe fighting my way down through France, Germany, and Russia. then take a sharp south route through down to India can’t wait for India loads of people to fight. then up to China/Tibetan boarder meditate with the relaxed local Buddhist monk’s drinking herbal tea then start fighting with them kicking them messing their shrines and they wont even see it coming.

I am addicted to travel but due to financial setbacks cannot set out on adventures for awhile longer. What are your favorite movies about travel? I have seen Motorcycle Diaries (which is really good by the way) but would like to hear your favorites. Movies about backpacking, vagabonding, or long term travel would be more appreciated than movies like “The Holiday”. Thanks!

I am planning a Boy Scout high adventure and am looking for a good caving/spelunking and rock climbing activity. Anybody know of any good guided caving adventures out there? We are in the Norther Virginia area and could travel up to 4 hours. All the boys are between the ages of 16 and 18. Thanks!
Lurray Caverns is a little too commercial. The guys are looking for something that is a little more rugged and doesn’t have hand rails and lights.
