I am a geology student who is graduateing in Dec 2007. I would realy like to go to grad school for marine geology in a few years but, I would like to also gain experance by going on a extended oceanographic research cruise. I have been on three scientific day cruises but they were more like show and tells than realy a seroiuse scientific cruise. I was wondering if there were any website I could go to in order to find openings volenteer or paid to be a crew member during Jan-march time period. All I have found so far are openings for biologists. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks

My partner and I are trying to decide on a holiday to India or Spain for four weeks in November 2008. What are your opinions? Pros and cons. Is it peak tourist season in India in November but is it really cold in Spain in November?

There are so many places that I’d love to see, but I just don’t know where to start. I’m all by myself and I don’t have much money, but I’m unsatisfied with my current life and I’d love to have some adventure. I want to know if theres anything out there, I want to see it for myself and be able to tell my Grandchildren of all the adventures I had when I was young. It sounds easy enough, but everyone I know isn’t interested in traveling, they’re all happy how they’re living. I wish I could be satisfied, but I can’t go on living in this town untill I know there’s a whole other world out there. I want to see the world.
